With the advent of the raised air bed, the traditional inflatable mattresses are being passed over in favor of these higher beds of air. Bed's used for camping you just deflate them, put them in a bag, and inflate them when you arrive at the destination you are going to.
Foam functions optimally when you are in direct contact with it. King beds are great if you are taller, and therefore want more room for your feet. Some air mattress are very comfortable and can be used as a replacement for a regular bed.
The problem with a coil spring mattress is that you cannot make any changes to the settings because there is none. Rather than deal with these types of consequences, a simpler solution would be to address the root cause of the problem and ultimately improve your sleeping conditions with an air bed. The celebrity bed is quite a hike in price from the other models mentioned so far, but if you want to spend even more you could take a look at the grand bed.
But don't take my word for it, go and try them out for yourself. Teach children that rough play is unsafe around and on beds and other furniture.
